Hello,
I have an issue with the camera of my huawai P30 pro. Usually when I try to take a large picture, it seems like the camera crashes and/or took all green photos, or not taking a photo or the photo is loading and then crashes.
To be able to use the camera again I need to start again my phone.
It is a little bit frustrating because I bought this phone for a trip and to do nice photos and it keeps crashing again and again.
Is anyone have faced this problem?? Does someone have a quick solution in order to be able to do photos on the next days for my trip??
Thanks

Hi @Farah and welcome to the forums:
Have you tried to boot into safe mode and restart to see it starts working perfectly again: https://uk.community.huawei.com/p30-series-30/p30-pro-camera-not-working-4935#post26951

and this from this thread: https://uk.community.huawei.com/mate-20-series-20/camera-and-flash-light-not-working-2357#post25620 it can also solve your issue:

*solved* - clear face recognition data

Camera kept freezing, not opening, not working in other apps. Swapping away from nova launcher did not work, clearing camera cache and phone cache did work once but not again even with multiple tries and restarts.

Anytime it happens I now clear camera cache and most importantly, clear face recognition data!

Using 9.0.0.210 Mate 20 Pro

Hi there, I recently purchased the p30 Pro last month. I started having problems with my camera almost immediately. As I would open the camera it would crash and a sign would pop up saying " cannot connect to camera".

I ended up taking it back to my retailer and was given a new handset. Now its started again on my new headset and I've only a couple of days left before I can take it back. I love this phone so I'm just wondering if anyone else is getting this Problem or does anyone know how I can fix it?

Thanks in advance 😊

Try boot your P30 to safe mode:
- Power off the device.
- Power it back on.
- Once you see the Huawei animation on the screen press and hold Volume Down button.
- You can see safe mode at the bottom left corner once the device finishes booting.
- Now that the device has started on safe mode, charge it and see if there’s a difference.

Don’t forget: safe mode blocks third party apps but it won’t tell you which of them is the real cause. If you think that there’s a rogue third party app in the system, you must identify it. Here’s what you need to do exactly:
- Boot to safe mode.
- Check for the problem.
- Once you’ve confirmed that a third party app is to blame, you can start uninstalling apps individually. We suggest that you begin with the most recent ones you added.
- After you uninstall an app, restart the phone to normal mode and check for the problem.
- If your Huawei P30 is still problematic, repeat steps 1-4.

If this doesn't solve your problem, you can try to read up this url link to see if any other fixes can help you.. https://thedroidguy.com/2019/06/fix-camera-failed-error-on-huawei-p30-1102115
