Mate 20 X problem - no warrantly

Hello,
Just bought my first Huawei phone, a Mate 20X.
I love it but have just started having a little trouble with it and wonder if anybody can help me?
I bought it second hand and havi G checked the IMEI number, I thought that it was still under Warranty as its less than a year old.
I spoke to Huawei today and apparently it was sold new in Hong Kong so there is no Warranty.
It has been working fine but recently it has developed a problem
Every now and again it just switches itself off and then restarts by itself. It is quite random and quite frustrating as it sometimes happens in the middle of a voice call.
I wonder if anybody could advise me what to do?

Many thanks

Make sure you have at least updated the phone if available.

Maybe lucky and something that can be sorted in an update else you could as suggested send for repair.

Your phone wasn't sold to the European Market so this is right. You have no consumer rights.
The only option you would have is to try and find a 3rd party repair center and pay for it to be fixed.

This would be the pitfall of buying 2nd hand from an international market.
