Wifi not working on huawei Mate 9

Hello,
The WiFi network on my Huawei Mate 9 (EMUI 8.0.0) suddenly stopped working.
I have seen a lot of forum threads suggesting that to make it work again, I need to perform a factory reset on the phone.
After 2 days of trying to get the WiFi connection working, backed my data up and performed the factory reset.
Once the phone restarted, I did not get the WiFi to work. Every time that attempt to turn on the WiFi switch, it automatically gets turned off.
I have seen that other people is having a similar issue with other Huawei phone models, but I haven't seen any answer for them either.
Please let me know what else can I do to get my wifi working again.
Thank you,
Mario V.

Hi @mariov24,

We are sorry to hear that you've came to this agreement.

Regardless, if you wish, we can have the device inspected at our authorized SBE service center.
To facilitate this, within the UK region we offer, at the present time, a postal repair service. A booking for this service can be made via mail, chat or call at https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/support/.
For the booking the agent will need a bit of your personal information such as: Full Name, Address, Post Code, Serial Number of the device.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,
Max

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Have you tried turning the bluetooth and wifi off and restarting your phone and then switching it back on to see if it works?

You might also find this really useful:

Another possible solution if you are trying to connect bt wifi is here: https://uk.community.huawei.com/p30-series-30/p30-pro-and-bt-hub5-3921

Another thing would be to put your phone in aeroplane mode and trying to connect to wi-fi. Another thing would be to try to connect by clicking the WPS button on your wifi hub and then on your phone click wifi > advanced settings > additional settings > connect via WPS.

hope this helps!
Thanks for your help!
Unfortunately, none of the suggested solutions work.
I'll continue to browse the internet, but looking for a phone replacement. Of course a non Huawei one.
Best regards,

Hello,
So, there is no fix for my phone, but you would like to have a look at it?
I don't understand why you just close using your suggestion as a fix. My phone is sill with problems.
What is the cost for the review service?
Best regards,
