Freebuds lite, left earbud extremely quiet

When I bought my Freebuds (about 6 weeks ago) there was an available firmware update available but I didn't update it. When I finally did, problems rose such as synchronization and connectivity issues, which has previously been absent. I reset my earphones and the problems were gone so I obviously didn't update them again. I assumed this was a glitch or something and I reinstalled the update and now it seems that my earphones have spontaneously lost all their volume, at max level the left earbud is barely producing any sound, while the right is still loud, there's still a noticeable decline in volume from before

I would love some feedback and possibly any solutions, I have tried resetting them but nothing has changed, cleared my Bluetooth cache, tried them with another device and the problem persists, I've cleaned them a little and have numerously tried disconnecting and reconnecting them to my phone (p20 pro) but the volume remains practically absent

Hey Jordan,

Welcome on the community. Sorry to see that your Freebuds are not working properly. Have you tried unpairing and resetting them?

If the issues still persist after a reset, the Freebuds would have to be sent to our service department for a more hands-on approach. Please contact our support channels to get assistance: https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/ (UK) or https://consumer.huawei.com/en/worldwide/ (worldwide).
