I'm getting the error message "Software failed to Install" on my P20 Pro.

Is there a fix for this?

Hey all!

I'm afraid this might be something that we can't fix right now.

I'd actually suggest having it checked out at one of our authorized repair centers.

For the UK region you can arrange the service booking via mail chat or hotline (at 08000886700 free of charge of course) via https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/support/
Or if you would like I can also facilitate this for you via PM.

Do you know what the build number of the software last on the device was?
Hi, the current build is 9.0.0.168 (C782E3R1P9).

I'm just trying to work out why erecovery is getting this error message.

If this issue persists on your device, can I please ask you to PM me the Serial Number of your device so I can look into this further?



You will find this information either on the box of the device or on Settings > About phone > Status.

I'm having the same issue so would happy to get help too 😞 I got factory reset but nothing happened went back to loading screen....
anyone that can help me?

I can't call out of country and beside I don't have my phone so... isn't there another way to get help?

i have a question i bought myself a mate 10 lite back in september.
after an emui update it showe a black screen with a red ! .
Software install failed!
get help from: http://www.emui.com/emotiondownload,php?mod=restore.
i dont know what to do everything i have tried didnt work.
and i also cant hardreset it cause my volume buttons are broken.

pls help guys 😃

Download latest and restore
Factory reset
reboot
shut down
i have tried the DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION AND RECOVERY, doesn't lead anywhere.
Then i have tried to REBOOT, nothing as well as SHUTDOWN.
finally I did select the option WIPE DATA then also nothing happens
How can I get rid of/escape this eRecovery program? please help me to get rid of from this
